This one still needs another run over the buffer but I think it looks pretty good.

nice work but try not to get so much light on it, you cant see as much detail as you could if there wasnt so much glare.

You did not miss anything by your observation. It has already been pointed out.

But I can assure you that it is NOT Maghog’s work. Tysonmachado’s work is much simpler at this stage in the game, but he just started out. He is now filling an empty niche that Maghog had (although it was a small niche). I am sure he will be expanding on his skills and designs.

I also believe their “carving” technique is a bit different, where Maghog used to actually carve them, I think tysonmachado cuts (with hack saw) and grinds (with dremmel). I say this because he (Maghog) used to comment on the shavings, where grinding would leave dust. But I could be wrong.

I'm just wondering but... How did maghog carve? I never really understood how you carved metal. What tools would have been used?

BTW: I like they path you're taking tysonmachando. It gives a lot of people more choices to make their mags unique.

Right now I am charging $35 to carve a rail, but the sawtooth takes longer so I'll have to charge a bit more.

I do other pieces as well but I haven't really set any prices yet. PM me if you want something done and we'll figure something out.

The grips are made for 1/4 inch aluminum plate. I still have enough left to make several grips. I can't do any e-mag grips because I don't have an E-mag but if someone wants to send me their grips to keep around as a pattern I'll make them a set of grips cheap.

Dansim, I appreciate the comparison to Maghog's stuff as the compliment it is. Shartly has pointed out the similarity before. We are both from Maine. Maghog was kind enough to contact me about my work and he's going to give me some pointers next time he's in Maine. He's definitely one of the nicest guys in paintball. I've also met one of his cousins, who's brother has a lot of Maghog's old equipment and has made some very nice triggers. I'm trying to convince him so start selling them.

I'm working on a website to show off my stuff, I'll have some prices set when it goes online.
