Can someone tell me how to adjust the velocity on my autococker?

unscrew the cocking rod on the rear of your marker and insert a long allen key/hex wrench (my mind is blank on the size you need) turn CCW/CW to adjust velicity, you have to screw the cocking rod back in place to chron0 your marker after each tweak you make.

I absolutely love it when cocker owners come to an automg site to ask how to fix their markers over a cocker site.:D

What are beaver tails for? Some guy at Cousin's NY told me that it is ILLEGAL or against the law to use a cocker without one. Funny thing is, he won't tell me why it is illegal 'cause I might just do it. I'm not sure if I mention this story before, but I was sure I never got an answer for it. Please respond guys.

THanks.

well suposedly if you hit a certan rod on the back of the cocker back block, you can bump up the velocity....

Braver Tail, Mild7 & HoppysMag, you got it just about correct.

Tournament illegal to use an autococker without the beaver tail because it is *supposed* to prevent a person from "thumbing the rod" (the cocking rod in the back, below the bolt) A side benefit is the beaver tail may help prevent getting smaked in the goggle lense when shooting. :D

Over the chrono before, I've held that rod & fired a round ... velocity spikes hard, puting it near 350 - depending on how hard you hold it in.

Out of curiosity, DOWNWITHANGELS, do you have an instruction manual for the autococker? If not, hopefully can find one on www.worr.com or somplace. (knowing AGD has .pdf files for their stuff)
