26 bps without shootdown.

I thaught that the RT valve was only able to RECHARGE at 26bps....I didnt think it could actually FIRE at 26bps.

Why couldn't it fire? It will fire as fast as it can recharge untill you get to the point where the spring won't return the bolt fast enough, or the sear cannot get up to lock the bolt fast enough.
If you can reliably feed it 26bps, and shoot that fast without shortstrokeing it will do it.

Jonno, look at ur wording. YES it can fire 26bps, other wise how did AGD test it at 26bps?

w/ current bolt rate, its acutally able to cycle more than 50 cycles per second.

actually, the bolt may be able to fully cycle 50+ times/sec but since the valve wont start recharging till the bolt completes its cycle the physical limits of the current valve/bolt setup will be bolt cycle+valve recharge.
a while back i read something about agd testing an e-mag with a real long feed tube, i dont recall if it had a warp hooked up to it but anyway, using a computer to pull the trigger they managed to fire 26 bps without shootdown.
check this thread to see what you can expect from your average e-mag with a f/a mod and a halo loader, its pretty sweet, even if its not flawless.
