Okay, i was up the left tape and these guys with intimmies were pounding away at us i come up and let a string out as fast as i could shoot then rite as i fired my last 2 i pinched a ball it didnt break my mag pinched a ball it was great. Thats the first time it didnt just chop the thing in half its just the 10 pound stock bolt to i refuse to pay 45 buxs for a mag bolt. I turned around and yelled to my friend lol i was so happy my emag pinched a ball it was pretty cool.

Must have been some thick shelled paint

Ever stick your finger in the feedtube? Sure doesn't pinch your finger, thats for sure!

thats impossible, Mags can't pinch paint. If its able to pinch paint, it would only pinch ur finger. But in reality, Mags can almost chop off your fingers due to the bolt cycle rate. Thats why AGD makes the stanard feed and teh vertical feed tubes so long, so you can't stick your finger in there.

guess what! JON! its not impossible you know how it happened! also it only happened once it obviously was a miracle lol. Thats why i posted and told everybody. It obviously hit the paintball somehow that it didnt chop wierd but it happened. You dont even own a mag so your posts DONT COUNT:)

but logicaly he is right, if you cant stick your finger in there without it beeing chopped off then how in the world would a paintball not be chopped?

actaully im sure you were out of air, either than of your playing with some iron balls, no pun intended

Ive done it with a superbolt, it dosent happen often but it can happen.

During 20 bps testing of the e-magnum. Sometimes the bolt would stop on the ball and cause the gun to make a fart sound.

I determined it was not short stroking. The gun would fire a tank empty on full auto without burping. Also after reviewing our videos no balls came out of the barrel until the next shot.

The bolt on the stock mag dosent exert THAT much force. You can push your finger in front of the bolt with a moderate amount of force, fire, and it wont move at all.

Butterfingers, is right. you can hold the bolt back with your finger.

I wonder where the idea the mag bolt will chop your finger off came from??? You can put your finger in and if you shoot the gun it wouldent feel good or anything, but it wont chop off your finger! Also, the reason for the long feed tube is to have a bigger ball stack to help feeding.

well the finger choppnig was exadurating, but it will do some major damage to it. And the bigger ball stack is just a bonus, the primary reason is so that you can't stick your finger in there, ask Tom Kaye, he said it hiself.

OOO, I've pinched, with my automag. It was when I first got my mag, I short-stroked it a second time (first time boke a ball) and it pinched. Sure the next shot had the weirdest trajectory I had ever seen, but it didn't break.

how is that at all possible and how do you know that it was a pinch

I had digital video. I can assure you given bouncy enough paint a mag pinches.

If you hold your finger solidly on the bolt and fire the bolt wont move.

Finger chopping has been really overstated.

Actually, I beleive that I read somewhere that someone was dissasembling a mag and stuck their finger in front of the bolt(not through feed tube) when the barrel was off and well, they found the tip of his finger across the feild.

Sounds like an Urban Legend if i ever heard one.... if it did truly happen youd get some sort of a warning about the possibility from AGD, just look at AGD's response to the superbolt scandal.

yup probably.

making a feed tube longer so that some one doesnt stick their finger in it sounds kinda corny to me. and what kinda loser would do that then put their finger in the breech? you would have to be pretty damm stupid. of course we do have the occasional idiots but stil..................

Jonno, why did you cover up the leak? You could have just inscrewed the tank very quickly.
