I got a 68 classic, with a retro valve, PMI gas through grip, macroline quick disconnects and Steel hosing going from the gas through to the regulator, Pure Energy THOR regulator, 3000psi Crossfire Nitro Tank, Benchmark Double trigger frame.

The Problem:: My RT just doesnt work. When i fire slowly, you can feel it wanting to kick in. I just re oiled it and replaced some orings and still same thing, i read around 850 PSI coming to gun but ive had as little as 300 PSI coming and still same thing. Whats wrong? :-|

Try raising your input pressure. More pressure more reactive. Most of those pressure guages are relatively inaccurate.

Could have something to do with the benchy, tolerances and such.

Does it work with just the tank (tank without thor)?

when i got the gun, it didnt have a regulator, and it fired fine, but i was told i needed a regulator so i got one, and i can feel the RT wanting to kick in but it just doesnt =\

have you tried it without the reg. just run the tank to the retro valve.

You don't need a reg. the mag is part reg and there is one on your tank for output prressure. Drop it.

Ditch that reg, and run 850 into the gun. That should do it.

i took the reg off and tried it, but still, it did the same thing, it felt like the RT wanted to work, but it jus didnt :(

You definatly want more than 300, inputting 850 it should be reactive, maybie you need a shorter on-off pin.

That could be it.. but i doubt it, i stuck my retro valve in my friend minimag and it worked fine :[
