if youre talking about the 90 degree frame like the space frame, i think wdp patented it.

if they did patent it, just make it like a 89 or 91 degree

I think that if you make the 90* frame like a regular 45 frame, instead of that weird curvy 90* frame, it should be around the patent.
I like the Z-grips in concept, but I think they went too far.
I think if you simply reversed a 45 grip (i don't know the exact angle off hand...) it would achieve the same ergonomic concept, look nicer than a full on 45* angle, and probably sell better than something like the Z that looks so funky (I love the look, but apparently the rest of the public doesn't).
I don't think AGD should copy anything from WDP... why sacrifice good engineering for hype???
I've been think about his, its a good idea. I personally think the Angel frame went too far, too cosmetic.

so instead of a 45 go for a 15 degree? well if its 45* goes 90 thats 45 away and then 45 in the other direction....damn thatd be 45 too maybe 140 i dont know just put the grip on the side so everyone can goin in gangsta style

i like the idea
but yeah it would be sorta a hype thing and shouldnt follow that
but it would be a great idea, i would take an intelli over a z-grip cause i like the intelli part
how bout an intelli-z-grip?
The new Z's that are on TK's List of Things to do will be intellifeed ready I believe.

yea the new z-grips will be intellifeed ready when they come out. since i will probably have to spend like $200 on a custom made frame, i will probably just go & buy a z-grip.

That is what is being called the "Y" grip. It may even get made.

They'll have some prior art problems if they tried to incorporate the grip angle into their patent.

i think what fred meant by turning around the 45 frames, is to not get as much as an angle as a zgrip.
