View Full Version : My automag is leaking

I just bought a used automag which i was very happy to get but when i attached my Co2 it stated leaking from the hole in the back of the velocity screw(the screw in the back of the body). Can some one please help me. My E-mail is littlep02@hotmail.com Please help!

I only really know the 68'automag/minimag valve...If you have that, check your regulator.

The regulator seat might be missing, or there might be dirt or something clogging the regulator pin+spring. Check out this blow-up diagram of the valve:

Unscrew the screw that the air is leaking from (velocity adjuster) about 1 turn and fire it a few times. That should get it to stop.

Isn't that either the automatic pressure relief?

Or what is it in the manual that says when liquid get's in the gun it leaks out the back sometimes, and Tom says just wait for it to leak out, it should stop.

If all else fails it may mean you have a bad reg piston and should send it to AGD.
