I liked old AO.

no offense to angel owners but i would like to see the other forums at a seperate page. i liked it the old way. There are to many forums now..... We have 7 new forums. its too much. in my opion the classifieds should be split into paintball and non paintball. Who else misses the old AO.

ya im ok with having angel owners here, i like having another view on a subject. but i dont like how the forums are arranged and catergorized.

Unless the # of registered users and the # of posts dramatically increases I see no reason for more mods. Army, Miscue, BlackVCg, & CPhilip are doing fine. :D

I do agree that we will need a few more mods around here other than just Angelguy.com. but i like having the classifieds divided up. It makes it easier if i am just searching for a barrel and so on. I personally don't care about the angel group, but hey welcome.

Good grief guys. Give us some time to work things out. The Classifieds might change, we'll see how they work out. The point of splitting them all up is it makes it a lot easier on you to find exactly what you're looking for.

As for mods. TheAngelGuy was brought on for his technical knowledge about Angels and meeting the criteria we require a mod to have. The rest of us mods can mod the Angel forum, our names just aren't listed.

The way things are right now aren't set in stone. Things will change over time just like the did today.

Personally I love the way the classifieds are now. I have sorting through the entire forum looking for one item. This is much better. Now how about some guidelines about posting things, like asking price, terms, etc...

Hey you know what? When AGD first came here, there was people that werent so sure of the future. But I guess they changed thier mind, and got over it, and besides, it turned out to be the best forum in the world. Adding the angel forum just takes care of some of the existing posts, making the forum easier to follow. Just give it time, Im sure not everyone will agree with the change.

You have to realize that growth means change. I can remeber not too long ago celebrating the 2000th member. We now have over 5000. I liked the old AO but with new members you get more posts. more posts require the need for forums to catagorize those posts. As far as moderators go we self police pretty well and They do a great job.
Enjoy the growth and diversity and that Tom frequently for giving us all a place to hang out.

One problem I see with the new classifieds is the lack of visibility of an item for sale. I go in there a lot of times with nothing in particular in mind and WHAM there is an item I'm interested in. Now, if a user is looking for a barrel. They will search the barrel forum...but wait...the guy with the powerfeed mag in the gun forum is willing to part out his marker. I just missed the opportunity to buy that, and he lost the opportunity to sell it to me.

I don't know...I don't want to be critical of the new Classifieds format. I will give it a shot, but I just don't think it will be as efficient as before. Either for the buyer or seller.

I think the classifieds should have less forums... Change it back to the old way. I know people will do more searching but then they can find people who part out or are just selling everything. A kno that some people don't really like posting multiple threads for selling items. Just have a classifieds, feedback, and dealer's forum...

The one thing I don't like is that it's hard to keep track of all the forums at once. So I only post on the three Automag Owners ones. Paintball Talk, Tech Forum, and Historic Forums.
