What's the difference between a drop-forward, and a cradle? Some people say there is no difference, but I think there is. Could anyone tell me whats the difference? Also, whats a good dropforward/cradle for a Mag, with a soon to be 68 Crossfire Nitro... Thanx for any help.

I like the Custom Products flame drop but its all personal preference, how far you want it forward, up ,down, angle etc.

Well a cradle uses a ring type clamp to clamp onto the tank, as a drop forward is has ASA threads for a tank.

Nice drop forwards are KAPP Drop Zone 2, PMI Drop Forward, Benchmarks line of cradles.

Can you put an ASA on a cradle? Like screw it into the bottom of it and attach your tank, or is a cradle just for a tank that doesn't use an ASA??

the KAPP Drop Zone has a nitro-to-co2 converter...itsbasically an ASA collar that will fit in the ring of the cradle. it allows you to use co2 in it
