I dont know what was going on saturday, but when I went to shoot like side ways, my paintball would only go like 2 feet. That happend only like 2 times a game, but it happened when I was under heavy fire.

Whats wrong????

probably belongs in the tech forum, but we need more info. First i take it you have mag with warp feed. What kind of air supply do you have and trigger set up?

The two things that come to my mind are:
Short Stroke,
Or the tank is coming unscrewed while your playing, and dropping the input pressure..

The tank was screwed in to its max. I was using Nitro all day. I did not short stroke because I fire 1 at a time unless I need to fire more. But the weird thing is that after I put my gun back up normally, It shot fine again.

I don't know whats wrong with it, but I have a suggestion. Try not turning your gun sideways. This lets ur hopper not stick out as far so that's what I do anyways.

You using micro-line? Could be starving (of air) your Mag if you are.

Did the marker fire the same? That is, did it seem as though it was starved for air, or did it fire normally, but the ball just didn't travel very far?
If the gun fired normally, could it possibly be that by tilting your marker, you exposed the ball in the chamber to some sort of obstruction that induced an excessive amount of forward spin on the ball, thus causing it to hook toward the ground as it exited the barrel?
Also, do you notice any hook to one side when firing upright? Other than some sort of problem with the valve getting enough air, spin is the only problem that I can think of.

jonno, what is your problem? mags are not for newbies, u had a pirahna and wanted a mag for a while, i've been playing paintball for a while and have been using my mag for atleast 2 years, and by no means am I a newbie. so in also saying , the people who get Emags are newbies b/c they in fact did buys mags? or what, everyone that has a cocker is an experienced player? i don't mean to start a flame war, but really saying that mags are for newbies is like saying that autocockers shoot farther than mags.

Its shortstroking

If the ball was getting the whole ammount of air behind, no matter how much topspin it would go more than 2 feet.

Whenever i shortstroke i usually dont chop(my mag elves must smile upon me). There usually is a ball loaded so it just bloops out of the barrel about a foot of 2, thats exactly what it sounds like. To me this only happens in rapid fire, its really kinda embarrassing(at least it doesnt chop) when spectators are watching and you let out a string, pop pop pop pop bloop pop pop pop.
