flatline reg

hey, i was just replacing a reg seat on my latline and i noticed when i was unscrewing the 2 parts, that a portion of it was already unscrewed. This is much like what you see on the reg/valve of the mag after firing for a while. Anyways, i was wondering if this is normal or would i have to replace the o-ring that seals the 2 parts to the reg.If so, what o-ring should i use? Also would this explain maybe as to why my psi creeps up (i still put in a new o-ring seat anyways)? Because this is a relativly new tank like 3 to 3 1/2 months old.

You shouldn't need to replace the o-ring on the outside of the reg. housing. When you go to put it back on, thread it on by hand and then take an allen wrench and stick it in one of the holes. Push on the allen wrench and it will tighten the reg. a bit more. Put on the stainless clamp and your cradle arm and tighten it all down. It shouldn't come loose again.
