What is the operating pressure of the 68mag? Can't figure out what to set my tank's output pressure to...THX:confused:

You should set it to around 800.

800?!? I've run it fine at half that!!!
At 800psi, my tank would barely last 1 game...

The gun doesn't operate at 800 psi! It's just healthy for the gun to have 800 psi to regulate! lol... It operates at 300 psi but it has a built in reg so 800 psi is better for the gun. Putting 300 psi into the gun starves the valve...

a 68/3000 tanks probably lasts for 1000 shots with a well setup mag...

what can I do to it to get better efficiency?
I'd sure like to get that 1000 shots from my tank...

Don't waste air... lol

Have a good paint/barrel match. Your barrel bore should match your paint bore... PERFECTLY, if you want a good efficiency. Also, you want to keep the mag's internals in good condition. Avoid aftermarket parts like ANS and reactor/z valves and bolts. They aren't up to AGD tollerances.(Mods say that the mag has a .001" tollerance for parts)

Also avoid trigger jobs...
