mini mag does not come with asa or anything like that. TKO does though. TKO you can shoot out of the box all you need is nirto and your ready to go.

I like Mini's better. They don't come with grip or asa or anything, but for the price they're fantastic (and they look cool!). I'd only get the TKO if you're looking to buy a gun and go play; not buy the gun, play a bit, and change it around a bit. From my standpoint, the Mini is a better platform to add accessories to since its essentially "blank" and you can start on a clean slate, so to speak.

I shot my MiniMag out of the box. Although it has taken me some time to get the money so set it up right, all you've got to do is either screw the nitro tank in vertical (kinda bulky) or use a remote line (what we did).

So yes it does run out of the box just fine.

I bought the TKO a bit ago. From my standpoint now I have basicaly bought a new barrel, warp mini body,warp,n2, fore grip and extender, and a cradle.

Why I bought the TKO was that i wanted to play with it and I had limited $. I got use to the mag then I started to upgrade it. All i need is a retro valve and an intelli frame and I have a complete mag of my liking.

Sure all thoes parts off my TKO are lying around but I think it was worth it....

just my 2 cents

Get the TKO, it comes with a nice aftermarket barrel, so you won't have to upgrade that unless you have a personal preference.

If you have a screw in bottle (co2 or N2/HPA) you can play with a minimag out of the box. You just screw it into the vert adapter. It looks like you get more "stuff" with the TKO package. One thing to keep in mind is that mini's come with more stars on the valve I think, although my vintage '94 mini has never needed anything more than o-rings to keep it functioning fine. It really comes down to a matter of how the gun looks. Some people prefer the extended body of the mini, some don't.

What the heck? My TKO didn't come with a barrel... This isn't fair!! :) Why do I always smile at everything bad? Whatever, I got a barrel anyways, and it's working fine, but i'd like to have another barrel if i'm shooting different paint... I've tried emailing pbgear, maybe ill try calling em... Also i bought it not long ago, and does anyone know if they stopped shipping barrels with them or something?

Mags were made befor HPA was used so they work fine, use an anti syphon CO2 tank, expansion chamber and an angeled bottumline asa.

you souldnt freeze up then
