I'm considering getting an older style All-American 12". The kind that doesn't screw/unscrew. Anyone have any experiences with these? Good, Bad, what?

Well, I hope they are good, because I might be getting a used one tomorrow night.

Oh yeah they are just fine. And might I add somewhat quiet. I've never had a problem with them.

I had a SS back old style AA before I got my Freak and I LOOOOOOOOOOVED it. Emphasis on loved.:D It shot especially well with marbalizers. People would mutter in the staging area that my gun was too accurate after I gogged them, or something of the that nature.:)

I say go for it. Also look around for good prices because I got mine for $50.

all americans are without a doubt in my mind some of the best barrels on the market, quit and easy to clean, you cant go wrong with any type of all american

i think that the old ones are better because the DONT unscrew, in my opinion it makes them more stable than a screw together barrel

WooHoo!! Well, I think I'm getting a helluva deal. $39 shipped. Few nicks, but looks aren't tops on my list.
