dang it!!!! I just realized that the mag i bought on wednesday has a serial number of MM16533. Is it just me, or is that really old???

Hmm, that doesnt seem old. If its MiniMag it has all the current updates of a level 7.

That Minimag is only about 3-4 years old. Considering it's going to be exactly like all the new Minimags, there won't be anything to worry about. Just clean it and oil it properly and it will be good as new.

I own Minimag MM03440, it works fine. I'm sure yours will too. I'm not sure I see the problem...
