Are there any differences between running nitro, & running compressed air?

Nope.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if the rather small difference in compostion would mean anything or not.

As long as you dont use nitrogen with a titainium barrel for too long you'll be fine. The nitrogen and Ti react, makes pretty sparks (apparently) but will wear out your barrel.

I have never heard of nitro and titanium reacting, that's weird.

I don't know if thats really possible, considering the air is made up of AROUND (not exact) 80% nitrogen, you wouldnt be able to make anything out of titanium if it were to be exposed to the air.

Nitrogen is 80-85% of the atmosphere...

That means it's 80-85% of the compressed air that you shoot anyway.

I think the barrel sparks had to do with certain metal bolts used with the titanium barrels.

Nitrogen is typically non-reactive in the N2 variety, it doesn't cause stuff to burn... so I don't think that that is the cause of the sparks, but chances are someone here is smarter and more experienced with that stuff than me.
