there were 2 differnt Zgrips made for the mags..... 1 for the regular mag and 1 for the RTs

the RT version needed a lager hole for the field strip screw/banjo bolt as it had orings and air passed through it....

most of the later Zgrips that came out were the RT version and came with a bushing so that it could be used on a reg mag...

as to which you have/will be getting... you'll have to see if the banjo bolt goes through it and let us know.... if it is the reg mag one... someone on here may be willing to do a trade...

well my friend works at a machine shop and said that he thinks that all u have to do is make the back grip hole a little bigger to accomadate the banjo bolt. we'll see.

yes yes the grip frame needs to acomodate the banjo bolt. The Z was made for both RT and 68 mags. If not drilled it needs to be. Best bet is to send it to AGD and have them do it for you.

There two types of Zgrips made.

RT and Standard

If it is an RT then you're good to go, just slap it on, the hole will be there for the banjo bolt already.

If it's for a standard mag, you have some modification to do...

The standard one will need the field strip hole drilled in for the RT banjo bolt. Also, the standard grip had two "lips" at the top so that it wrapped around a standard body rail, if it has those they will have to be milled off for the grip to fit correctly.

I thought it was pretty clear that if it's a standard one it's perfectly fine to drill out the RT hole and shave off the lip.
