Okay, so now this superbolt has cost me over $65 and a world of headaches. They should have put on the package:

Come's complete with spring and a bag of headaches.
I would like my money back now. I have no luck with these things.

I only put about 2300 shots threw this one. Used it yesterday and went to shoot some paint out back today. I gased the gun up, fired ONE shot and saw this thing fly out the end. It ripped through my screen on my patio. :( I went outside and found the tip in the grass.

Does it damage the gun or barrel in any way when a superbolt breaks?(scratches, anything) Becuase I'm getting a SFL pretty soon and don't know if I should risk a superbolt, or just use a longnose foamie.

Oh, and no offense, but why were you shooting in the direction fo a screen to start with? (unless you were dry firing, but you said shoot paint)

Why? What would that have to do with anything? Don't think assume that he is trying to turn this into another "BONES IS A GOD syndrome."

Ok look, maybe I get a little worked up too fast and I do apologize for that, but how is it that BOTH of my superbolts blow up relativly quickly??? I am not mistreating them. I am not oiling them. I am useing plastic nubbins. When this happened, I did not have paint in the gun. I gassed it up holding the trigger down in mechanical mode cause sometimes I get the air blowing out the back upon first gassing up. I was standing talking to my friend, pointing the gun away from the glass window which was behind me, and the barrel was about 2 feet away from the screen. Our entire patio is screened in because we live in the woods and misquito's can be brutal. So here is the hole it put in the screen. I am in the process of repairing the hole as you can see. Yeah, its quite a hole indeed. :(

Something obviously has to be done about this (as im sure it is). But Im just peeved. REALLY peeved.

Just call em up, they'll probably give you some money back, and as far as the superbolt goes, you can't get them right now becuase of these problems and are being "re-engineered"... where art thou superbolt :(

Paintcheck - the "Where for art thou, Romeo" line in Romeo and Juliet meant "Why is it you, Romeo" because they were from two different families, as you may recall. The correct term would be "Where art thou, Superbolt?" Today's English lesson has now ended.

Sucks man, I'd just stick with your regular bolt, in my experience, the Superbolts just aren't worth it (over 3 cases in my RT and no breaks).

Here's my take on this.

The superbolt keeps breaking because it is only a Delrin sleeve. So to correct this problem the bolt body must be made entirely from delrin. However if you made the whole bolt from delrin the sear would eat its lunch...........So they must figure out a way to make the "barrel" of the bolt from delrin and the "seat" from 440 stainless. How do they do that?

Is this a correct take? Any other Ideas or corrections to my theory?

By the way, I am aware of how huge making a bolt of this style would be (near impossible).
