Any ideas on making a 5" NW Products DF fit on a classic Automag (std grip frame) with gas-thru grip (the gas-thru is 4"). The DF is just long enough where the on/off hits the macro fitting.

A NW quick disconnect block MIGHT extend the DF enough to avoid the fitting, but I'm not sure and have no real need for the NW QD...

Any ideas would be appreciated. I'd like to avoid buying a new drop.

Sounds like you're going to have to put something between the drop and the grip frame. You the QD if you want or just get a thin spacer. If you only need an 1/8 od a inch then only use a 1/8" spacer. I don't think you are going to be able to get around putting something between the drop and the frame.

Get a Kapp Foregrip Extender to move the foregrip up about 3". At least that's what I would do if I'm understanding your problem correctly.

Good luck.

how about just not using the gas thru forgrip..leave it on but bypass it so the line goes from the drop to the valve..i did it and it works best for me
