sorry if this is a stupid question but i've heard several people comment on the "level" of thier gun like level 5, 6 or 7.

what is this? what does it mean?

The version of the mag, the lower it is the older the model. Right now new mags are level seven. Every level has different parts etc.

All classic mags since CF003456 have been level 7. All minimags, rt's rtpro's and emags are level 7
