I'm looking for the longest drop forward for basic style drop, not dropzone's, and no screw-in one's.

Currently from what I've seen the Custom Products Lightning Drop is the longest, or the Shocktech drop (the big sized one) are the longest. I want to mount my tank as far in as possible.
Any opinions on good drops, reco's on which drop forward the furthest are welcome.. Thanks :)

tko drop is pretty big. if you dont want screw in you just have to take off the 2 screws in the end and take off the screw in part

My one's I'm majorly considering are the Angel AIR, pmi 5K system with THOR, and Max Flow's

I want the drop to go as far as possible to get a tighter gun.

P.S. no screw-ins because none of the tanks I am looking into are screw-ins.

P.P.S. Flashy drops need apply too. I like the fact that the TKO drops 5 inches but the shocktech drops further, and looks nicer. :D

well I have a warped sports drop with on.of and my 45/45 is completly under my valve, my 68 sticks out about 1 1/2 inchs it the best drop I have tried. DZ2 are also nice, if you clap on to the neck of the tank.

um...do you realize that all those tanks come with a drop? and i realy don't think you can put a maxflow on a drop, nor an angel air.

Shocktech's do come in 3 sizes, also the Angel AIR system has it's own drop on it, however you can mount an additional drop onto it, I already asked around :D

Wrong. Whoever said to try a psycho ballistics was right on. It puts my Max way up front.

What is with all of you paintball players and drop forwrds? what size tank? there is some myth among players that the bigger the drop the tighter you will be able to play WRONG, u dont play tight from using a drop forward....except for maybe an 88 non stubby tank.....

Actually I am prolly going with a 88ci long tank and would like it to be as far into my gun as possible, so therefore it would be tight together as the tank wouldn't jut out that far from the back of the gun. I want to be able to hold my gun in front of me and barely have the tank rest against my chest if I lean back while shooting.

what position are you playing, i have a non stubby 88 and have a very small centerflag drop on it that i have to use due to sponsorship, how are you going to aim without shouldering anything.....

I have a dzII. But I also have a long 88, so it makes sense to have such a long drop. The two fit perfectly together, so Ivan, look into the dz before yo go and find an insanely long one. The tank does get in the way of my warp a little bit, though.

1. Hold gun up to shoulder
2. Look down side of gun
3. Pull trigger

I center the gun at my chest and sight down the left or right of the gun as I need to. It's easier to bank the gun left or right then hold it centered at my shoulder, I just lean it left/right.

just turn the asa around, or get a really small drop and turn it around. i tried it once but it really hurt my shoulder. nothing like a nice firm stainless steel hose seperating my shoulder...mmmm...mmm...good

I never thought of that, however I don't think that it would work quite right. The thought of the stainless steel hose ripping into my shoulder...mmmm... flesh rended from bone and sinew...mmmm.... Hey wait, no that would suck!
