I found this place from a link on pbreview. These picture are originally from www.deadlywind.com ,and there are a few more pics on the site. They also make, apparently, a closed-bolt mod for spyders called the R.A.I.L. I thought elf-factor was high until they said it is intended as a cure for chops rather than an accuracy increase. It doesn't look that special - think of a spyder with more hoses than an autococker and you'll get the idea. The prize was these pics - a fully functional, 60psi, PVC PIPE PAINTGUN. Mmmmmmmmm. Hack-job goodness. Sorry if the pics are too big.

dont forget the warp :)

My brother made a muzzle loading paintball shotgun. Could load like 10-20 balls, and it would shot using a 12 gram co2.

I suppose it was only a matter of time before someone did this. Very creative, good job.

someone has WAY too much time on their hands. i would rather pay 100$ for a talon then be payed to play with that.

Dang that is ugly. :D

It's so strange looking that I'd like to see it work in person.

Yup, it's ugly. But Cool.

But it works right? Does it use a bolt? How does the thing work? Is the handle hollow? It looks like the incoming pressure has to real low, given the fittings that are on it.

{edit} I went to the website, after fixing the link, and it's a pretty good Idea. Could easily be refined into a nice system. Runs at 60psi, with the bolt being powered by the dump chamber pressure with a spring return. (that's pretty cool in my book) so, no timing issues.

Interesting.. I wouldn't really want to hold it, though.. pinched air hose, JB welded fitting..? I think I coulda done better if I tried (they probably could too) but *shrug* nice to see it.
