I remember that when the trap door feed was the hot thing around here, nobody really got why you would need the trap door if you had a warp. It seemed pointless.

But after I think about it was the point of the trap door feed to keep the ball in the stack isolated from the bolt to prevent a fracture?

Was that AGD's first idea to eliminate ball breakage?

Once again, thinking too much.:p

from the info in the "AGD Prototype Lab"...
Guys, Just before AO crashed I showed you a prototype side feed system for the Emag when using a Warp (bottom pic). It offered over the top sighting and quick access to the breach. You made several comments about wanting it to be waterproof and swing the other way etc. I have come up with the second gen. shown here, your comments are invited. As always comments are most appreciated when they come with realistic ideas on how to improve it. This prototype includes an anti-chop switch inside the mount in front of the swing door. The large white block in the rear is bigger than it has to be but if we leave it this size we can put output jacks for intelifeed and power supply etc. OK R&D team do your stuff!!

The trap door feed was overtaken by the Modular Extreme body. It is not dead but still planned as an optional module for the Extemes.

After looking at the trap door prototype again I see that it doesn't appear to be the type of trapdoor I was thinking of. I think that I was thinking (that sounds wierd:)) more along the line of the Epic trapdoor.
