Hey all, a quick poll,
what do you guys think looks kewler, the New 2002 Model DYE Boomstick, or the Old Skewl Dye Boomy. I have the old one, it finally got to me that I like it because of its simplistic look but killer performance.
The New style, a friend of mine has and I think it has a newer but still suttle milling and engraving. The stainless section definitely looks alot more beefy. I wonder if they did that to ensure a true straight edge barrel and avoid any form of warping (hmmm...?).
Anyways, LMK All.
Mew Style Boomy. Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down?

Due to the intense quality control at Dye, you will never see one warp. Glued is better. Both are awesome barrels.

I'm definitely digging the new look, but I didn't have a problem with the old look either.
But nothing beats warm pie. mmmmmmmm

I have an old school boomy and I like the logo a hell of a lot better. It screams Dye Precision a hell of a lot better than the stupid circle.

Because, it doesnt matter which barrel looks better, which reg is more consistent, which gun is better on any poll...
Warm apple pie just can never be beat.

For those that are new to this thread, these are the 3 canidates. Im starting to think the new style boomstick does look a little flashier. I think the milling would match nicely to the milling on my Micromag.
hmmmm...

I think it would look best with the old logo, next to the new logo (the circle thing) and get rid of the milling where the barrel meets the flute.

i musta gotten the in between one, cause mine doesnt have that milling at the end, but does have the D w/ the circle thingy

I have the new style and one of my friends has the old style boomstick. I like mine a little more, the milling is more sreamlined. As far as more weight there is no difference between the two, or atleast no noticeable difference. Like MrMag I have the "in between" verson of the boomstick that doesn't have the teardrop style milling at the end. The new generation looks a hell of a lot cleaner than the older one and the circle symbol looks a lot better than their old logo.
The new boomstick looks better but pie tastes better... I think I'll vote for pie.
