I wouldn't say they invaded anything, as thats been there for a long while now, pretty much since the warp came out, and AGD started putting FAQ's about the warp on airgun.com.

I'f im not mistaken, Tom is a Star Trek fan, hence the reason he included the connection between the warp drive/star trek and the warp feed.
