View Full Version : BLADE TRIGGER for E-Mag

Timmy63
05-12-2002, 05:26 PM
Well it has been talked about quite a bit here on the forum and the other guys on the team have been begging me to make them, and so I did. Here are some pics of the blade trigger I have created. If you like it let me know. I need to get a good response and I need to know that it will be worth my time and effort to make a bunch and sell them.

If you’re interested post here and let me know. I will see what I can do to make arrangements to make a bunch of triggers.

…and yes they work and they are fully adjustable!!!

How much would you charge for these? Are these a simple drop-in replacement? Do they come with a magnet?

I am particularly interested because I managed to strip the tiny magnet adjustment scew out in my Emag trigger and have been too lazy so far to return it to AGD.

Anyway, I am definitely interested.

Timmy63
05-12-2002, 05:40 PM
I am not sure about price yet. I am going to look into it this week. I hope I can make it inexpensive enough for you guys to afford and still allow me to make a few cents.

Also, they will come with magnets in them and can be dropped right into your gun. All you have to do then is a minor trigger job.

They work awsome, all of our team has been using them for about 2 weeks now, and we have found no problems.

I'd be interested if the price isn't too bad.

Looks nice. Did you modify a intelliframe blade trigger to fit? I'm very interested.

Timmy63
05-12-2002, 06:00 PM
No, I did not modify an existing trigger.

I am a CNC machine programer and I made the triggers from raw chunks of alluminum.

Timmy63
05-12-2002, 08:16 PM
I don't exactaly want to reveal my secret quite yet but the trigger is adjustable very easily. Put it this way, if you can do a trigger job on the trigger in your e-mag now, you won't have any problem doing one with my trigger.

I like seeing the responses. Keep them coming.

When I get more info on how much I can afford to sell them for I'll post that here and/or probably start another thread. I am pretty sure the price will be under $50.00. Let me know how that sounds to most of you. If I can make it cheaper I will certainly try. I'll let you know by the end of the week.

Remember the better the response the quicker I'll get the ball rolling on this. I'm just as excited about it as you guys are.

I'll probably take one! Looks real good! I think somewhere around the $40 area sounds right, more if magnets are included I guess. I'd sell them without the magnets tho, people can jsut throw their other magnet in there.

As far as adjustment, it is very simple and I have an instruction sheet made that I will send with every trigger.

Way to go Timmy63! I received the blade triggers in the post this morning and I have to say they look to be very high quality. Even down to the little presentation box they come in. A nice touch!

They got here very quickly considering I am on the other side of the pond :)

Now time to install...

you are kidding right? I always reply to my PM's... I'm gonna go search and see if I missed something :( gutted.

Well I was thinking for my C&C, could you do clear grips fading to black to match the ano? is that possible? maybe slowly lower the grips into some dye or something?

The manik-e-mag may have a few major mods to the gripframe which would require even more 'special' grips ;)

Fade either way would be cool. I think it won't matter much, it depends on what air system I have on it... one is pewter and the other is black :)

Fade grips would be hella cool to match the fade anno... :D

Okay, okay I get it!!

Timmy,

I only just installed the trigger this morning. Wow!! I haven't put any paint through it but it feels great. I've not been one to sit around an dry fire alot. but in the space of a couple of miniuts I've ended up putting over 1000 shots on the counter!! I'm walking the trigger and I've never been able to do that well before. At the moment I'm using your trigger with one magnet and it feels great.

Now I understand why people get so excited dry firing!

Douglas.

Can you make them without the finger groove at the bottom? Still have it flare slightly to the front at the bottom but without the curve towards the back of the gun?
In other words the back of the trigger is a straght line down and the front has a slight curve at the top, a staight line down, and a slight curve at the bottom. I can draw a pic if you need it?

sorry to blow your bubble.

i have been wanting one of these for a long time. however, i recieved a pm from timmy63 couple days ago. production for the blades have stopped temporaily. he wont be able to pump any out til late fall or early winter.

when that time comes, u can bet ill be ordering one. until then my double is just gonna have to cut it.

p.s. grinding/sanding your trigger into a blad isnt the same, the tl63 has more adjustment, it has a front setscrew to remove front play.
