External E-Mag Battery?

Could this be the first sighting of an external E-Mag battery....I don't know. But what I do know is that I saw what was a proto of what may be a external battery mount. I went to a feild, and saw someone showing the gun off to others. What it was, was a E-Mag with a normal gas-thru grip where the normal battery is, plus what looked almost like a bent warp mount(makeing a 90* angel) mounted under the grip frame. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I may be onto something new.

It can be done, it's not that hard, but it's mostly non reversable.

Same location, but it had its own mount and everything. It was basically on a bent sheet of metal, on the side. Same location of the battery as that. The guy said the battery will have a holder, and it will just pop in. Maybe I'm wrong...who knows but TK?
