Well here it is whether you like it or not. I will be giving you a tour of my house with the marker in every shot.
Also pics of my new Baby sister. Her name is Aimee Marie Tewes and man is she a cutie. Here's a pic of her (she is more important than my gun)

Nice marker… great family… good looking house.

But did anyone else notice that they have virtually NOTHING on any of the walls? The walls in my house are FULL of pictures….

Theirs looks like they just moved in and have not gotten around to putting anything up yet. ;) It IS clean though. :D:D:D

Here's Bubba Gump my snapping turtle weighing in at 6.5lbs.

Fantastic Family you have there, and very nice house.

I would however advise not posting too much personal stuff online. Just a little friendly warning… with what you have already posted, it could be used in not so nice ways. I will leave it at that… we live in a very small world now days.

Puddleglum
05-14-2002, 05:34 PM
I guess you're right. Should I take some stuff down?

shartley

That is up to you. I was not too concerned until you posted the outside of the house as well. That with all the other pictures is really more than I would be comfortable having my son post online…. And I know how it could all be used.

I know you are very proud of you home, possessions, and family.. and you should be.. but we often have to remember that once we put things online, they are available to the entire world, as well as those in your back yard.

To some I may sound a bit alarmist, but I would rather stay on the side of caution on this matter. I have seen too many bad things happen when people thought “Heck, it is just online. And noone really knows me or where I live.”

So, it is up to you what you do at this point. I just did not feel comfortable not giving you my thoughts on the matter. Like I said, if you were my Son, I would not want quite all that online.

What a house. Sweet setup. Man now your all set. I'd have to agree about maybe posting to many pics online. Then again if your ok with it then well post away. Still looks nice though.

I agreew with SHartley. With the information in your profile (Location) and the pictures of your house, I could find your house in about an hour/ hour and a half if I lived nearby. You seem to be fairly set in, and that IS a very nice house! But I am sure there arent any dangerous people here on AO.. and I doubt some creep would go to an AUTOMAGS OWNERS GROUP to find potential victims.

i'll be honest with you, the first second I saw your house, I said "Holy f***". That is one sweet house. If you have a basement that is the entire size of the house, and is clear, you could have a nice indoor field on your hands.

Okay Vegeta now you're just scaring the kid.

I see no issue with it, considering you can type in someone's name and get their adress and phone number over the internet. Also, if you spend about 40 bucks you can get all their credit card receipts and phone bills and whatnot. They did it on the news once, to show how insecure your documents are. I dont think putting your house picture up is so horrible, how is it any different than if someone was looking to buy a home? They would be SEARCHING for your house, of any weirdo could look at real estate websites....

Nice pics!

It's up to you as to how much info you'd like to share with everybody. People on AO are just concerned about how much information you've given out.

Guys those yellow cans are not lysol or any kind of spray deodrant. Its Pledge its used to polish like expensive wood and marable tables and stuff. I have like 3 cans in my house.

(Edited post)
Okay… some people just don’t know what they are talking about, but being their age(s) it does no good to point it all out to them. Think what you want about posting too much information on an online forum. Listen to other children who don’t know what they are talking about or how it does not even apply to this situation. Do as you please…. I am now past caring.

Too many other people have had to learn the hard way.. I hope you and your family will not be one of them. It always happens to everyone else but US.. until it DOES.

Like I said, if it was my Son posting all that, I would have him take a good bit of it down… but that is just me.

Oh.. and Pledge is not just for expensive things…. It is for cheap things as well. I might add that being proud of what we have and going overboard with it can often be a fine line… I suggest learning it. ;)

Yeah, I appreciate the concern, and I really should have thought it out a little more.

Shartley: I really am glad that you are worried. I guess its good to know there are people around that you can trust.

I'm gonna take off most of the pics of the house since they seem to be the ones that makes our place identifialbe. Thanks again for the kudos and the concern.

With that one comment you have assured her never posting here again. Thats almost as bad as when my mom shows my girlfriends pictures of me in the tub as a baby.
