They are a bit tall but they are'nt too bad. The insane drops on that picture make them look taller than they are.

they aren't that insane there just drop zones but i think what makes them tall are the trigger frames.

Well, I consider drop zones insane. Especially for a 48 ci tank. They almost double the height of the marker in that pic. All I'm saying is that they are'nt that abnormally tall, but they are taller than I like. I've held and fired one and it was'nt that bad.

its only a double tube. not too high. i'm used to the short profile of my mag though. the grip frame extends down far which will give it a tall look, and those drops are pretty big...

Yeah, I'm 6'3", so I'm in the tall range. :D

All joking aside, I like my paintball markers longer than they are tall. It just feels better when your aiming them. The Drop Zone's just a bit too tall for that application IMO.

I like the GZ timmys. The dragon timmys are spit-cup ugly IMO.

LIIGOD............why do you have teflon tape on there? That voids the warranty on the gun. Any particular reason you have it on there?

Just wondering because I know you know Bob and got a lot of the stuff done by him or his son (couldn't remember which you said on pbnation).

Yes, those pictures ARE a bit on the tall side. But as people have said, it is a combination of the grip frame and the drop forward that creates such a tall profile.

The grip frames many markers use lend to the taller profiles as well all by themselves. They just seem to be too beefy above the actual trigger… AGD slims theirs down… which is VERY nice. If other marker manufacturers keyed off of this, it would reduce their overall profiles as well.

Timmies were never my favorite looking markers, but I have to say that Liigod’s setup actually looks nice (aside from the yellow strip).

Sports Xtreme (Xtreme Paintball ... where Carl works :)) has one of the 250 Dragon Timmys and I took it down and held it/played with the trigger. I rather liked it but it did give off a kind of cheesy vibe (I never liked timmy's anyway .. ;))

My Mag with hopper on top is the same height as my teammate's Timmy with warp. We both have about the same size drops, too (I've got a CP Micro and he's got a Benchmark).
