Throw your mag against a wall. It will make a slight popping noise, yet it works great.

take off the tank then pull the trigger a few times....

or

if you have an on/off on your tank turn it off then pull the trigger a few times.

throw my mag against the wall....hm...never thought of that one:rolleyes:

Simply de-gas it.

Nearly all other guns use springs to cock or operate it's action, leaving them under tension or compressed.

However, 'Mags in the cocked position have all the springs relaxed, air pressure creates the tension. Release the air pressure, 'Mag is de-cocked:cool:

so...an on/off is a good idea to have???

anyone know an on/off that will fit on my PMI Perfect drop with 88/4500preset Java screw-in tank?

an on/off wont work w/ ur pmi drop. u need to have a cradle, or a drop w/ a built in on/off like benchmark or system x.

RT_Luver

well, u could take the gas out and shoot it. or you could unscrew the valve and take it out. i'm sure that would work

Jonno06
05-25-2002, 03:33 PM
what does the slide check do??

where does it go??

how do i use it??

how much??

It works like this. You slide this thing and you throw your mag aginst a wall, and then It uncocks.

Jonno06

personman

Sure you can! Just hold the trigger down, and unscrew the field strip screw. It might tear your macroline, and dont stand behind your mag.

ahahhaaha no actually stand behind it and as the valve shoots out try and catch it in ur mouth.. its fun:)

just unscrew the tank smart one...... but if you dont want to do that you can unscrew the screw that holds the valve in and pull out the valve and wacth your on/off asembly shoot out and hear this "PSHHHHHHHHHHHHH" and then when the "PSHHHHHHHHH" stops u have a fun time finding the many o-rings and on.off top and the pin! oh man i think im gonna do that right now, its sooo exciting!

once, no u cannot remove ur valve w/out ur gun being degassed. that lil pin on the valve that u have to align w/ the slot in the frame while under pressure will not allow u to remove it. sorry guys

Thats why you pull the trigger! :)

Why would you de-cock a mag????

WickeDKlowN
05-26-2002, 05:48 PM
de-gas your gun, pull out the valve, throw away the bolt spring, put your valve back in, you will never have to worry about it cocking again. lol

RT_Luver

I may be a little slow, but aren't mags always cocked unless they were just shot? I mean the spring keeps the bolt back and attached to the sear and when you pull the trigger it releases the sear, and the gas pushes the bolt out of its coked position. then the spring pushes the bolt back to attach to the sear again. thats the only time a mag isn't cocked(when the air pushes the bolt forward) and unles I'm wrong(which I might be, wouldn't put it past me) then you can't REALLY de-cock a mag unless you take the bolt out

It's simple. To cock it screw your tank in. To decock it unscrew your tank.

hahah yeh that outta do it

WickeDKlowN

no, well somewhat, it is only de-cocked for a split second, even if you hode the trigger, because the spring forces the bolt back and the on/off stops the gas from flowing to it.
