Info for the next AO Day:

We are planning on having it on Saturday, July 13. It will be in Northern NJ. Somewhere in Sussex County. Mark it on your calendars!

It will be on a new field. Paint will be inexpensive as well as air refills. Right now we are not exactly sure of the prices.

Jon from AGD will be there.

Anyone is invited, even if they own an Angel IR3 :p

I should also mention, we (AO) will have the field all to ourselves that day.

I don't live in NJ but I have family that lives in the north (North Plainfield). I am going up for my cousin's graduation late in June and was wondering if there were any good paintball places in NJ. They would have to be in North Plainfield seeing as how I can't drive and am not familiar with public transit up north.

Hey Wc Keep isn't impact more along the lines of Angel/Cockers. I mean I don't think I ever saw a mag on the wall there. Anyway they do have some kewl guys that work there. I got to impress one of them with my sfl. I love doing that.:p

ok just because the owner of the store was the first angel tech in the us and the other guy that works there perfers to only shoot a cocker, doesnt mean that they dont know anything about mags. mags just werent doing him as great a business like his angels(impact angel phatest angel ive seen yet) and his cockers (spearhead cocker is mighty nice also) but he did have them once. they do know a lot about mags seeing as how before becoming a wdp certified tech he was an agd certified tech. and he is also listed as a tech/distributor by agd. so just cause they prefer cockers and angels doesnt mean that they dont think mags are good guns. if your ever in there ask mark to show you which is the picture of him with his minimag.

Yeah they have helped me out before but there is a guy there that doesn't seem to interested in helpin me when I have a mag prob. But all the others guys are kewl they've helped me make a few decisions on barrels, tanks and stuff like that. And yes I have seen some nice angels and cockers in there. One guy let me fire up a Dye cocker they had there and I loved it.

I think they are going to have team nite at Rexplex...was talking to one of the guys at MI paintball, and he said something about that. Now, if we had a roster of all the locals on it, and turned it in with everyone's name, and had like AO black, green, gold, etc...we MAY slip through the cracks and be able to BYOP. Dont quote me on that though...it is just a thought. But, as far as I know, paint will be reasonable. Like $50-$60 a case of diablo, I think. I definitely want to check it out though! I love playing indoors!

Top Gun would be a descent place to play. We could probably get a really good price on paint if we could get at least 30 or 40 people. Even then we could probably get our own field. However we would need someone who could things together and see what happens.

A good paint price? You must be thinking of a different Top Gun then the one I've played at for years.

At $80 for a case of team colors that's anything but a good price. Especially considering they probably pay 1/4 of that.

A good price for paint would be around $45-50. TG definitely does not have that. Unless you make some kind of deal.

I'll also be checking out the RexPlex when it has their airball field up. The place is cool, if they set it up right, it can be like a mini skyball.

Well, there's ET Paintball in Newton NJ. It's exit 25 off Rt. 80W. Nice place. Some interesting fields. Fairly affordable prices- (don't ask me how much, I did it a few years back in college). I would've played more the day I went but some genius popped a smoke grenade (in his own flag station) and started a fire... DUH!

Screw ET Paintball I would not give that place anymore of my money. When I played there it was 25 to play and 85 a case plus 5 for a fill.
Fireball Mountian near cookstown, Nj is a pretty descent place. However the last time I played there it was $15 on Sundays. I nkow the price went up to I think 25 or 30 to play on Sundays. At 30 bucks it better be a 100 acre big game with 500 to a side :)

Talking about Fireball MT, have they worked on thier fields? The last time I played there they were doing alot of work and the fields were pretty nice but to have 80 people on them would be rediculous.

Im kinda new here, well i haven't posted much, bu i'm from North Caldwell, in north jersey.

Yeah, i've been to knightbreed for the past few weekends, its a really nice field, ok prices, but a good group of guys. They sponsor my team so we practice there pretty often.

Et pball has ok fields, but prices are way high.

Paintball depot sux. Their refs don't actually do anything, the paint sux unless you buy it at the store, considering they leave the paint in a trailer for weeks at a time.

Nj paintball club is god awful. After a near fistfight with the owner I and my team are banned from the field:D
Needless to say, overshooting, wiping constantly, and then complaining when i put 10 rounds into the field owner's face on a bunker move cuz i was pissed... he still didnt call himself out. The home team, the predators, are a bunch of a**holes.

As for the field location, as of right now, it is set in stone. It will be at a field in Sussex County, which as Riotz said is a new field. Jon from AGD will be there, along with hopefully ALL of you who replied. It will be an awesome time.

Field name/directions will be forthcoming from Riotz as soon as he knows. He is working closely with Jon and the fieldowner to get this set up, and he'll post it all ASAP. I can't post it because I don't know the information myself, but it should be up soon enough.

I'm sorry, you didn't invent the AO meet and greet, it's been going on for a while, I myself have been tring to set one up for a while now and no one claimed to have a better meet but you. I'm only looking to meet some fellow AOers and play with them. The simple fact is that geography makes it easier for you to have one than us and more AOers live there than here, why try and take away from our day? What did we do? Havoc I agree with you. I think every state should try to have a meet at least 1 time a year. nj did not start this and I dont know what all the hype was all about with other states having meets I think its great. I dont think you or anyone other state is coping thats like saying only NJ AO members can have meets and that is crap. I hope you guys have fun at yours and we will have to do a picture post when they are all over with so we can show other AO members that if they get off there a** they hang and and show support for AGD.

At this point we aren't sure if there are going to be rentals at all yet. Its a new field, and I'm not sure if they have received any rentals yet or anything like that.

SO, after the official post goes up, word will be in on the rentals, and if they aren't available, I'll be undertaking the task of finding guns for everyone who doesn't have them.

I'll be taking names of people with extra guns/etc they are willing to loan out, as well as anyone who needs a gun. Hopefully we can cover everyone in any case.

Capo is coming for the AO meet, yes.

As are quite a few notable paintball industry people. I don't want to give names until the official announcement is up (Which is really annoying since I have it all typed up and am just waiting for Jon to review it), but its not "just an AO meet".

Theres going to be food, music, prizes, special guests, etc. It has multiple sponsors. It may get covered by a major paintball magazine and a well-known paintball website.

If that's your definition of "just an AO meet" then by all means, keep your definition the same.
