How do i make pics small enuf to fit here on ao?

I made the pic i want EXTREMELY small but it still says its too big to fit. And if my pic is to small no one can see it.

That's because you are attaching .bmps.

When you save the file, where it says Save As: click the down button on the menu and hit .jpg

The file should be a lot smaller and no one will have to download it as it will show up automatically.
