Maybe I shouldn't open my mouth, but are all tournaments like this? You pay $600 (or $675) to get in, say you buy a case or two of paint. Already you're at $665-$800 dollars. The only way you get your money's worth is if you place first in one of the events. I've never attended a touney but is this how they all are?

Pretty much. It isnt that bad. It is 600 divided among 5 people so it is 120$ a person. and everyone buys atleast 2 cases so thats 120 or 130$. Then you pay for hotel and gas up there thats about 30$ a person for hotel and 30$ for gas I'm guessing. Thats abotu 300$ a person. Its about average for a big event like WPF.

sounds abuot right and if your team is good enough(amateur most likely) your sponsors might help with the entry fee.
