I am having a big problem with my automag having shootdown. It seems at first when my tank(68cu, 3000psi) is near full i don't have much shootdown, but when it gets around 1200 i notice severe shootdown. So that my first shot(after not firing for a minute, or after just screwing the tank in)the paintball will go so slow that it won't even break and not go nearly as far. If anybody could help me at all, it would be much appreciated :)

What does your on/off top look like? What kind of output does the gun have? Possibly your pressure gage is way off and down around 400psi when it says 1200psi. The best thing you can do is test the output when it gets down to "1200psi".

ok, i just got back from playing today. Had my tank filled to 3000psi, then i started shooting and i had shootdown once again. To give you a sense of how bad it was, i did it over a chrono. The first shot was 275 then the second was 150 third 200. I really need help with this guys... please reply if you can help at all.

I'll bet you have an old style on/off top. Try flipping it upside down, put it all back together and try again. The on/off top is the brass piece in the valve that goes inbetween the o-rings at the bottom of the hole and the stainless steel bottom piece.

so even if the notch is on the bottom half of the pin, i should flip it over?
