My friend is awesome designing stuff with spraypaint. He made his tippman all blue like. He does a pretty good job. People say the spraypaint chips but he had it like that almost a year and never happened. is this true?

I spray painted my raptor
I put a 2 coats of primer and let that dry(well after 2 days it was still sticky sooo... ya its dry enough) and then I put 2 coats of flat black, it chipped about 3 days after i painted it, and it scratches realy easily, i even put a acrilic(sp?) clear coat layaer and it didnt realy help... but it comes off pretty easy(paint remover) so dosent realy hurt anything...

i just sprayed my raptor flat black, and it looks okay, but it scratches REALLY easy, when i took my elbow off, about half the paint came with it.

I tried painting my mag like a satin black.. it looked good I put like 3 coats of primer.. 3 coats of paint and a thisck coat of clear coat (model grade testors clear coat LOL) and it last about 3 games. Once the paint splatter soaked through it was all over. you could rub it with your finger and take the primer/paint/clear right off. Than.. I just got it powdercoated :D I know if you use automotive grade primer/paint and polyurethane clear coat it holds up much better to the paintballs.. but scrathes still happen. You're better of just getting redrider/redryder (dunno exact spelling) to powdercoat it. I heard he does good work. And with powdercoat.. you can bump it into a tree of platic bunker and not worry about scratchin it. Its strong stuff :)
