View Full Version : isn't the size limit on the sig pic 15-20 k???

some people on here have like 60-100 can we please tone them down a little bit when i am at my friends house the pages take long enough to load bad enough the sig pics are that big.


should we make the sig pics smaller yes or no is the question.

Why is this a poll? And why would any votes matter? The AO Admin have already addressed this issue…. They have just not enforced their own decision very often.

They have a lot to do, so what I would suggest is that if YOU find a Signature Image that is too large you report it directly to Admin. They keep getting larger and larger, and then the Admin has to crack down. It is easier when you see blatantly large files to report them, or at least tell the person who owns that signature and give them a chance to fix it themselves. That is what I do. And it works out well.

ok thanks shart i just wanted to see the response of fellow aoer's not admin's or agd. but i will take your advice.

If you do end up telling the person whos which has the overly sized pic in his/her sig,what if they have no idea on how to resize it?

i will tell them i did it for them becuase i know how to do it and it will be better for 56ker's.

yes on 56k its getting longer and longer to load pages because of sigs

Seriously, though... If I were on 56k, I'd have all pics disabled except for links.

yeah true, but some people like to see pictures..... well good thing i don't have to worry about it.
