LVL 10 is a GO!!!!!!!!

To AO and all the loyal Mag Users in the World,

In the last 7 months we have studied, researched and examined. We have designed and we have developed. There have been tests with failures and successes. The junk bin is filled with extinct prototypes and dead end ideas. We believe in our hearts and with all the skill and knowledge that we posses, that we have done all we can, to make this an excellent product. I believe it will solve the ball breaking issues and bury the idea that the Mag is a blender.

Having said this I still have a fear…. it is a fear of the unknown. It is that thing that comes back to haunt every engineer once his baby leaves the lab it knows as home and goes out into the big crewel world. The Real World is the ultimate test, one that no person or product is ready for until it jumps in and sees what reality has in store for it. Am I 99% confident the LVL10 is good to go? YES!! Am I 100%??? no… you learn in this business like with the Superbolt, that sometimes no matter what you do something still gets you right between the eyes.

My point is that we have done everything we can think of to test and debug this thing. We are allowing for the widest range of possible issues in the design and implementation. We can do no more. The rest is up to you. I am releasing the prints for production tomorrow, depending on the machine shop we could have the first batch in late next week. As promised AO will get first crack and be the beta testers. If you don’t want to deal with potential issues and a crappy box don’t get involved with beta testing!!

I have kept you mostly in the dark about the design and its abilities. I want to shockwave the concept into the players minds fast enough so they don’t fill in the blanks with myth and conjecture. When I am sure production parts are imminent, I will release a series of videos showing the mod and its capabilities. A couple days before we ship I will post a link to a hidden page on the airgun store to order the kit. Guys with SFL’s get it for free but you have to trade in your old superbolt. Superbolt owners can trade their bolts in for a partial discount on the LVL10 kit. I don’t have a price yet but it will be under 100 bucks.

That’s the story, we are all watching the clock tick now….

Great news Tom! I cant wait. I know I havent been on the forums for quite a while but like a ghost I silently watch over this place. With this new upgrade I would like to be one of the first to have an emag with it. There was much hesitation on my part to get another mag. Where I live I always got talked down to when owning a mag. With the micromag especially since I believe the anti-doublefeed mechanism they have is terrible. When I got my warpbody and warpfeed the mag never chopped unless I over shot.


I have been looking for another highend marker and before I was heavily thinking about the angel ir3 (which may still be an option) but emag has always been in the back of my mind for quite a while. I am really hoping for an extreme since sfl's are too expensive. I would love to have an ir3 but they're just a little to complicated. I want somthing easy rugged fast, and reliable (Paint wise and marker wise)and now I know where to go.

Someone needs to run a batch of stickers that say "LVL 10 INSIDE" or something like that. Damnit this mod needs a name, not just "LVL 10".... no one outside of amgs knows what the Levels are. We nend to call thins something that when it's name is mentioned, puts fear into hearts of players all around the globe. Problem is a lot of cool names have been taken by other mods.

I still say we need stickers to PROVE that we haev a lvl 10 in our guns.. put those asshats that diss mags where they belong.

Sounds like you still had the usual trouble that a properly set up Lvl-7 Mag tends to have.
One or two ball breaks in a day o' play.

Im with u guys all the way, WHATS THE BIG WHOOP ON THE LVL 10??? i know its supposed to help with ball breaks, but my stainless steel stock bolt on my mag has not broken 1 ball besides shortstroking, i swear to u. I cranked my velocity so high one time to the point where i just blew my powertube oring, and it still didnt break one ball. The bolts are fine the way they were unless u guys have some crappy bolt and i some how got a holy/sacred bolt.

My Mag breaks paint like crazy too. Bought a Hyperframe, no more shortstroking= breaks paint. Bought a Warp Feed, faster feeding= breaks paint. Combined= breaks paint

The only time recently when I DIDN'T break paint was when I used my R2K hopper with a elbow and the stock trigger frame.

This all good and fine and i am really looking forward to them coming out but is AGD going to be able to keep up in the demand ... I allways seam to have troubble geeting the latest and gratest when it comes out heck i had to wait almost 6months to get my E-mag because the local shop couldnt get them fast enough ....

If you have been following this, you might have read the post by Manny (and others). He described that his marker did not CHOP any balls. He stated that the valve skipped, and the it was ready to fire once the ball made it fully into the breech. Not only did he note that there were no chops, he also had no complaints about breaks on balls that had been pinched. He went on to say that the results, as he perceived them, were exactly as they should have been in accordance to what was described to him in regards to what the mod should do. The only reported breaks were very far down the barrel, and therefor it was unlikely that they were due to any inadequacy in the operation of the gun.
So, the goal is not to eliminate breaks completely, as any gun can get a break now and then. The seeming goal is to eliminate breaks from chopping, perhpas by lessening bolt inertia, or breaks resulting from weakened shells due to misfires.
If you haven't experienced these problems, then what is to worry? However, most people complain that they chop with the Mag, and this is one of the last valid gripes. The level 10, if able to eliminate this, would thus eliminate a major reason many don't and won't use Mags.
Whatever the case may be, Tom said that he will release all of the information when he sees fit. Perhaps then this issues will be clarified for all. At that time other benefits may also be revealed (perhaps less rise and "kick," as well).

What is causing all these chops!? I do not get it. I have a regular 68, and NO REVVY. I dont fire fast enough (most times) to need one. I have never chopped on accident, and have shot several cases thru this thing. Yet there are tons of peopel out there yelling their mag/emag/rt chops. What exactly will this mod fix? I have a stock bolt.. hell i have stock everything.. and it works fine.. so whats up? New bolt and new powertube.... whats it changing? I'm not complaining- i will not buy a lvl 10 becuase I do not need it, and do not have the money. I'm just curious whats going on here....

In a way, I agree with Vegeta here. For the ppl NOT seeing a chopping problem, what will the elves in this new bolt system do? Is chopping the only difference ppl will see? Will there be a difference maybe in consistency? Less recoil?

This doesnt discourage me too much away from buying this new system, but enough for me to be very curious. I may need this. I recently solved my Mag problem with the leaking down the bolt and increased tension against the Hyperframe solenoid, it came out to be the powertube tip kept unscrewing, it ended up stripping so I may need another one, with a worn and milled down bolt (to fit an oring) I may as well just get a lvl 10 to replace all the parts I need.

I agree. I've shot more than a couple cases through my RT, and haven't broken a single ball. I'm skeptical about throwing down $100 towards something that will fix a problem I don't have. If it would lessen the kick, air consumption, or something else substantial, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. Keeping my fingers crossed.
