View Full Version : OMG Funniest Add in APG!!!!!!

i saw this add and i have to stop to look. It's for the Greatest paintball Show on Earth... it has a pic of a guy shooting the C&C on it and thats why i stoped (good advertising:D) well i noticed something odd so i looks closer at the valve... there is no air going into the valve. i can see the empty hole that the hose goes into right on the page. the guy is firing a ungassed gun. it must have been set up but its still funny

Kinda like those old ICD Bushmaster ads, with the guy with a B2K, VL200, no tank, and X-Fire goggles looking all serious out in the woods?

sort of... he is at a sup air ball bunker ready to fire and he has a tank just no hose.

I was thinking about that add myself when I read this post! The guys all sneak-creeping with his hands way out to the sides looking around. NO TANK! I was like.. I guess he just just run it with some of his own hot-air.

lol speaking of that bushy thing i had a friend walk up to me and say..."Im gonna get a bushy because they dont need any tanks to work. They just run off the air in the environment. " So yeah that artical really confused him

lol, a gun that runs off the air in the environment :D I take it your friend is a few fries short of a happy meal? Or does is he just not experienced in paintball?

Someone from this forum(no names)when I fiest met him a few months ago,thought that the Angel A.I.R refilled itself,he thought thats what the computer thingy was for,LMAO.:D

on page 110 of the June 2002 issue, theres a girl(Carissa Wong) holding an angel with a PE 16oz CO2 screwed into it. and right next to her, her brother has a Cocker w/ N2. lol

Look at their covers in detail sometime too... I've seen loaded smoke/clear hoppers with no batteries, duckbills so loose you can see the screw between the grip frame and duckbill, etc. Obviously staged shots with new equipment (at times) for a clean picture.

My favorite ad is the raven one where they're playing sup'air on a beach about 50 feet from the water and there's a guy who is superman diving and is going to fall way short of any bunker and get blasted.

im looking at the bushy ad right now... he has an unmotorized hopper and another inteteresting point... doesnt the light above the trigger only flash when you pull the trigger?

he said that it could have been equipped with intellifeed (I'm assuming) because there weren't any batteries in the hopper. you don't need them if you run intellifeed...

^^^ He's talking about the fact that there is no hose from the tank the the gun. Intellifeed would have nothing to do with it.
