Hello Everyone,

I just recently purchased a 3500 PSI scuba tank, without realizing it had a DIN valve instead of a yolk valve... Now, to get to my point, most fill stations that I've seen are yolk, infact I have not seen a single DIN valve fill station, does anyone know of one? Or has anyone put one together?

Thanks,
Legion

two solutions:
1- buy a DIN adapter for the yoke and replace the part of the yoke that is meant to go around a normal valve

2- buy a DIN adapter that screws in to the tank, they are used to fill the tank. the adapter is usually brass

hope this helps some...

Scroll down a ways and you'll find a DIN to Yoke adapter.

The only problem with getting a DIN->yolk adapter is that they're only rated for 200 bar (3000 psi) operation. I dont know if I would have any worries about anything bursting at those pressures... Has anyone gotten this kind of setup working?
