I was looking at your warp hack page and am interested in doing this to my impulse. (I have already done my LED and it works great). I would assume it is basically the same installation as the shocker, except there is only 1 solenoid, is this correct? please let me know, thanks.

Yes. Just splice into to wires going to the solenoid for the +5V signal.
