I was reading and BlackVCG wrote that the colored E-Mags are milled out, and are 1/3 the weight of the original in the rail and grip frame. Did he mean the extremes? If he didn't then are the normal standard E-Mags still the same weight, or are those too also 1/3 the weight?

he was talking about the colored emags (red, blue, etc) versus the black one. If you look you can see some of the milling done in the grip frame and the rail.

Why don't they do it to the black one? I could get a colored E-Mag, but then I'll have to wait to get a new tank.

yea, from what i understand, the colored e-mags are baisically the comercialized ULE-mag. the body rails are similar to the jax warriors body rails. Also, that "hump" on the back of the triggerframe is milled off

I wish they would have done it to the black e-mags. Oh well I am still getting one.

yea just go with the black one, if you upgrade to an extreme you wont have to worry anyways!

I didn't say the gun was 1/3 the weight of the original. Just the parts (Rail & Grip Frame). Not sure on the actual weights of the guns. I'll get that data in a few days.
