I'm very curious to know(I don't believe I've seen or read about it) if anyone has set there RT, RT pro, or RT mag in run away mode and fed it with a halo or halo b at maybe very high teens or just pushing 20? I've been thinking about doing this for a while but thought I might wait till I got the halo B(I have the halo A) to see what kind of results I get. (also if anyone can verify for me- a 12v warp can feed over 22 bps right?)

the warp can go 22 if you have the rig up 12 volts in it. But with a 12 volt on warp it couln not go 22 maybe with the halo b you were talking about that probably go 22. I have never tried getting my retro mini to rip i cant find the sweet spot on the trigger:mad: .

Dan from Triggernomics has, so has manike, using a sprung trigger rod so it only runs in runaway mode. Stupid fast.

I know the warp alone can't feed 22 due to lack of feed rate for the warp itself, I merely wanted to verify that it would not slow down the halo B.

Sprung trigger rod?

Please explain.

Thanks!

it's a trigger rod that had a spring it attached to the frame to pull the rod back quickly(I believe?)

Yeah with the rpm's my 12v warp is spitting out, the Halo-B will probably be playing catchup to it. :)

A sprung trigger rod has a spring between the end of the rod and the trigger,a s well as some type of guide, it causes an RT to sweetspot whenever the trigger is pulled.

Splat11756 (previous owner) and Donggie got my gun to fire 18 bps. Its a Retro Minimag with an Intelliframe. He fed it with a modified Warp feed. I was also told that he could put another sear in that made it fire 21 bps. I'm hoping Donggie will comment here to correct me if I'm wrong.

Not bad for a 2 minute drawing in paint ! :)

I'm very certain with the right setup you could get 22 balls. your gunna have to have a FAST trigger finger but when I found the sweet spot on my RT PRO I could EASILY rip on it. I was just worried I would out shoot my hopper so I never really pushed it to the limit.

no, just make the trigger mechanism. The spring attatches to the trigger and surface # 2 which is the item behind the spring before the trigger rod. There was actual pictures in a thread, that Dan at Triggernomics took.

What was the thread? Do you have a link?

The only problem with spring trigger mod is that your mag has now become a FullAuto Mag. Much like the Model 98 with it's reactive trigger system. It's great for showing off but illegal at tournies.

I would love to see one of these "sprung" (or is it spring) trigger jobs.

I think manike needs to post a picture.

Here's the thread where we discussed it before...

http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3635

The picture has gone missing though and I can't find it at the moment... if I can't find it, I'll break out the camera and take another picture, but camera battery is dead at the moment and I'm not sure where the grip frame is.

As Temo points out it wouldn't be legal for play anywhere unless FA is allowed.

I know, but you can set it, shoot and then raise or lower pressure to shoot faster or slower
