I just moved out to massachusetts from Oregon and I can't seem to find anywhere to play except a few backyards (which is fine, but im kind of looking for organized fields at the moment). If anyone knows af any it would be much appreciated if you could tell me about them. Il live around north central area.
Thanks much,
Jeff.

A bunch of AO'ers play down at Cape Cod Paintball but that would be a bit of a hike for you. Canobie Paintball might be your best bet but I hear that they are pretty pricy.

There is a chance that Global might reopen in the old Weymouth Air Force Base so that'll be another more central location. Now that you're in MA you should come down and watch AO Nightmare in the P&L tournaments on 8/11 (canobie) and 10/6 (Cape Cod).

i live in Cumberland, RI and the only fields i know of r in mass. My friends and i made a field by my house then the cops came and shut that down so we moved to another place. I never played at a field mainly because they r too far away from my house or i never have money to buy paintballs and pay to get in the field, damn i need a job

If you can get down 495 relitively (I know I spelled that wrong) easily, get to exit 21, hopkington and go down to Upton. Fox 4 is where I play all the time. They have 24 acres of woods fields, and then they are starting a Hyper ball field.

Plus paint is priced good, and air is $10 for all day

Friendly Fire is also in Upton as well. It's $25.00 field fee but you can bring your own paint. 14 acres of woods field. Good place to go for some rec. ball. There website is http://www.friendlyfire-paintball.com/Framework/index.htm

Sorry bro, Friendly-Fire is no more...The guys who owned Friendly-Fire wanted to expand. So they picked up shop, and moved down the street, (Still in upton) and changed their name to Fox 4. :D

If you had friends in Friendly-Fire, their in Fox 4 now. Kind of like Istanbul and Constantinoble....

Krazy Ivan,

I played at Friendly-Fire like about a month ago. I know that they shut down for a while but they are open under different mangement unless something has changed very recently. I'd be interested in knowing if that's changed.

Did any of y'all play at Apache's indoor field. You know the one that looked like a crack house. That place was awesome. Too bad it shut down.

I suggest you don't give Paintball Heaven any of your hard earned money. Even if you find a money tree and never have to worry about it again, I still wouldn't give any to Paintball Heaven. They might have cool fields but the staff is rude, the prices are absolutly rediculous, and the paint is terrible.

Friendly Fire in Upton is my main field. There's BPS indoor i Boston, i haven't played there, but i've been there and it doesn't look bad (its in an apartment building of sorts). If you want to travel a little bit, Cape Cod Paintball is pretty good also - they have many different fields - speedball, woods, sup airball, etc. Do a search for fields in Massachusetts, there are tons online.

You know, I lived in Boston for a year, and never once stumbled upon a paintball store or field! Grrrr. but I might transfer back, UMass Amherst has its own field??? Wow maybe I should go there, although I say east side is better. :D

Yea check out these prices at PB Heaven http://www.onlinepaintball.com/pbhvinfo.htm
its crazy, the only reason i go is because of the fields and the 200+ newbies that go and admire your stuff:), and a feild called Ghost Town, urban panitball, in the wild wild west, sorta.

Jeez! $158 for 2500 paintballs! I could buy over 4000 paintballs for that price! Maybe if I win the lottery I will go there or something. But then I will have less money then I had before the lottery :)
