New Prototype 'No Feed' Mag debuts @ the Chicago Open!

Here's the first pics of a new super duper low rise that TK has dubbed the 'No Rise' due to...well, look at the picture!

The Halo "B's" work better with a short stack of paintballs. This is about as short as you can get! It was whipped up by some elves at the factory less than 24 hours ago, in the wee hours of the morning. It got quite a few comments such as "Holy *insert 4 letter word of your choice here*!"

Here's Chris of http://www.odysseypaintball.com (aka the guys who make the Halo) showing off the 'No Rise' body. Chris is also the star of that Halo/E-mag video in which they write "HALO" on the side of a board with an E-Mag/Halo combo shooting full auto @ 20 bps.

The whole idea is to make the top of the Halo be no higher than the top of your head. That way, if you get hit in the hopper (at least from the front), you would've been hit in the goggles anyway.

A lot of the vertical feed fans who visited the booth liked it a lot.

If YOU actually read it hes says nothing about the body being whipped up last night at the factory. But if you take a look at the gun see see that there is no site rail, there has been milling done to the gun to remove excess metal from the grip, the xtra part that holds the battery, and the rail itself. Also the battery is still not on the gun. I know most of the jax warriors had the batteries elsewhere. Thats why I asked if it was a gun owned by one of them. I think most of them shot vert feed E-Mags also. I could be mistaken I was just wondering.

To quell all the debate over what I meant by 'body' I'm referring to the mainbody. The part that the valve, barrel, and hopper attach to. Not the whole gun. If the whole gun was new, I would've said so.

The Jax emag is apowerfeed body. How can you say that the extreme pictured here is the same. The 'no rise' extreme is a center feed, where as, the Jax emag is a powerfeed body. I'm sorry, but they are not the same gun.

You right it is not the exact same marker. They changed the body. The gripframe, rail, and foregrip all look to be the same as the jax ones. The valve on the no-feed E-mag is an original E-mag valve(with the wierd "E" on it)

All this leads me to beleve, llike others in this thread, that the main body is the only thing new about the norise body. Everything else was taken from the old jax markers.

Do notice that unless they shrunk and hid the battery on the norise, that "E-Mag" is basicly a RT with an E-mag grip frame. Where is the Battery?

I do beleve that this trade show is at the Chicago Open. So to get this type of show, you have to have a NPPL or other major event.

They got a full ride from WGP and shoot cockers now.

That's definitely a Jax E-Mag Rail & Grip, body is deifferent and it has a stock E-Mag valve instead of the custom valve.

first of all,not all the jax emags were powerfeed...and by jax emag,i meant rail,frame,yatta yatta yatta.of course that body couldnt have been on Jax emag,since it was made less than 24hours ago!

yea I asked if I could have it. The AGD was one of the best booths there though, I thought it looked quite nice, and you should have seen the people's reaction when they stuck there finger down in the breach of that emag.

Ok, the batteries were mounted to the dropforward. Look at the pic at the top of this page, that little black box on the drop is the battery. It requires some custom wiring, but its fairly simple.

RetroEclipseMan - Well, it may seem that way to you, but it's been stated that it will work better with the HALO because it handles shorter ball stacks better than Revvys, so honestly, when I'm cranking out 14 bps with a no rise, the last thing on my mind is "Man, my hopper looks ugly." Well, the last thing on my mind is "Did I leave the iron on?" but that comes in a close second:)
