would an air brush work well to paint a mag body?would it hold to the metal? i'm trying to find an inexpensive way to fancify my set up and my friend has an airbrush so i was just wondering.

it should work but everyone says it will scratch off very easily... have someone powdercoat it, thats a pretty cheap way to fancify your setup

You can airbrush it then get a clear coat of powder coating over the top...if it's done right it will work.
Or just get it powder coated.

Mine is airbrushed Black. it's temporary, it's going to be powdercoated sometime this month. Gloss Black is the best color.

If you are to get powder coating done I suggest a translucent anodize color or a matte color.
They look awesome.

have junky do it. He did mine in under a week and it looks great. only cost $40 for shipping clear coat and translucent red on my RT boody and drop forward

Usually painting your magbody yourself doesn't turn out too well, or doesn't last.

automan39, what paint did you use? how did you prep the gun? and did you use any gloss or sealer on it?
