View Full Version : strange problem with PT oring in EMAG

AS it says, my superbolted emag likes to spit the PT Oring up onto the shaft in the back of the bolt. It kicks it out past the spacer and the PT tip. It's lubed plenty well and has been replaced twice. I know it's done this when the bolts sticks forward and air shoots down the barrel.

Any ideas boys and girls?

I could really use some help from the RT valve gurus around here....

next thing I'm gonna do is drop 25 bucks and get a rebuild kit and start over...

You must be using the wrong o-ring. It should fit snug in the PT when you push it in. There's no way that the o-ring can flex enough to get past the PT spacer if you're using the correct one. If you could, take a picture of the o-ring you're using sitting next to the PT spacer and post it. Then I can be for certain it's the wrong o-ring or not.

blackie, I just went ahead and replaced every oring in the valve. so far the problem seems to have stopped, possibly the wrong o ring was causing it. thanks for the help
