I have a classic Automag running on CO2. I have an aftermarket barrell and an X-chamber already.

I'm looking for the next "best" upgrade for my gun, or at least some suggestions as to what to do next.

I haven't been around paintball for a few years (i used to play alot but it's probably been 2 years now) so I'm not really up on the latest and greatest technology.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

thanks!

The best upgrade would be to get yourself a compressed air or HPA/nitro tank. After which I would recommend a Power feed body and a dropforward for the tank if you don't already have one.

definatly the nitro is first priority. A mag on co2 is preforming to %50 potential.

I agree with covadsucks, HPA is the best upgrade with for a mag. Running a mag on co2 is like owning a dvd player that is hooked up to a black and white tv. It will work, but it isn't at its optimum. And, HPA systems are pretty cheap. especially at pbgear.com. Rock on IB.

ok, Compressed Air it is.

- How much will a decent HPA setup cost me?
- what should I do to the gun AFTER I change the air setup?

nothing

you dont need to do anything to your gun after you switch to HPA, just oil it up and play:D

A decent nitro tank is a crossfire and they run about 80 and up then i would go with a double trigger or a smartparts barrel

After you get nitro... get a good barrel system.. i.e. freak/equation then you will always be able to match you paint..and you'll be operating on HPA

BTW, when you get hpa, be sure to ditch the expansion chamber. And you dont necessarily need a whole barrel system unless you shoot lots of different paint. Oh and if you dont have a motorized hopper, definately get one of those. I would get that even before hpa. And dont get a 9v revvy those are almost useless.

definitly a nitro tank and then either the intelliframe or the lvl 10 mod and also like said above u will be better off with a powerfeed mainbody

Whatever you do, dont replace any valve parts with aftermarket parts. They either dont improve performance, or decrease performance. Only use AGD parts.

I'd go:
1. Revvy: you'll chop paint without one. Get at least a 12 volt or ricochet
2. HPA: works wonders
3. Barrel
4. trigger frame (intelliframe)
5. Whatever
