incase you didn't click that... marbs are small bore and an AA barrel is medium bore. So, going with the matching paint idea, it is not a good idea.

Marbs WERE small bore, when they switched to the advantage shell, they are now medium bore paint.

Actually they would probably shoot pretty good. I read an article by tom kaye that said if you want the most accuracy, there should be a very narrow spaces on both the rght and left sides of the ball when held up to a light while it's in the barrel.

some people go up one barrel bore size to cut down on barrel breaks

marbs shoot so nice through lapco autospirits. The barrel seems like it was made to shoot marbs and Diablo paint too. For larger bore paintballs, like Team Colors, I shoot my BOA snakebite. NO need for a freak. These two barrels are very gas efficient ( i can get 750 shots on a 47ci ) and are accurate and short.

i realy recommend the autospirit

When I had my stainless steel back AA Marbs were the best paint for it. It shot darts.:D

I use the older AA's with marbs. They work fine but I noticed something odd. The balls that are like 95% or more green in color tended to be smaller in diameter and roll out of my barrel more often than those balls that had a greater percentage of black.

Great observation.
