will lok soks fit a steel bottle?

they might, but aren't they really only used to protect fiber-wrapped bottles from a direct hit? i don't think you would need lok soks for steel....

It's very unlikely it will fit the bottom of a flat-bottomed tank. You could probably get it around but it would tent outward, and it might be too wide for some tanks.

NO... designed to create friction between rear of bottle and jersey.
