who exactly came up with the name "Automag"? there's gotta be a story behind it...

Dirty Harry had an Automag. It also happens to be the name of a semi-famous line of revolvers, available in .44 Magnum among other calibres.

The Automag is a gas-operated semi-automatic handgun... made by AMT I beleive.

yeah .44 automag. packs quite the punch. Don't like them myself. Ammo is expensive as crazy and I've heard they're not even making it anymore. Pretty much just reloads and cut down rifle casings.
